A small divisional competition brought to you by the South Midlands team at Fitness24 Gym in Gosport.

14 lifters - one flight

Time: 2pm weigh-in; 4pm lift-off

This would be a great competition for anyone wanting to gain competition experience in an informal environment, or anyone who needs to achieve a qualifying total.

This competition is open to all South Midlands lifters.

Entries will open on Sunday 16th June at midday.

Any guests wishing to enter from other divisions are welcome from 23rd June onwards.

Entry will be £40 per person and there will be 56 places.

A competition T-shirt is available for pre-order upon competition entry for an additional

£15.

Meet-day photography will also be available to all lifters.

Spectators free entry and encouraged to attend!

We present to you the South Midlands University Championships 2024 edition. This is our
3rd year running, and we will be bringing the heat for this one! 2022 was just a trial run, 2023
was a warm up, and 2024 is game time.

As always, 4 teams will be battling out for the title of the strongest university in the south!
This year we have increased the total number of competitors to 48 lifters - 12 for each team.
There is a possibility of a few extra guest invites selected by the event director. Due to a high
amount of requests, we will allow up to 2 alumni to represent each university team (included
in the 12 total competitors). The event will feature a PRIMETIME session in the afternoon,
which will take place after the morning session.The primetime session will be the one to
watch! It will feature the strongest South Midlands university lifters, as well as some tight
weight class battles. There will be increased prizes for top 3 male and female lifters.

The scoring structure will slightly differ this year. Results of 8 top scoring competitors from
each team will be summed up together, instead of a total average.

We will see professional media coverage leading up, during, and after the event including
photography, videography, professional livestream, athlete interviews, as well as live social
media coverage during the event.

Morning weigh in: 8am
Morning lift-off: 10am

PRIMETIME weigh in: 12pm
PRIMETIME lift-off: 2PM
