Cold Blood Classic 26/04/25

The Cold Blood Classic is back! This year, we're offering prize money, 60+ lifters, a professional livestream, and an exciting new external venue. We’re teaming up with White Lights Media for top-tier visuals, livestreaming, and media packages.
We're changing things up—athlete selection will be based on GL points rather than first-come, first-served. This makes it a great opportunity for higher-level lifters who may not meet British qualifier standards but still want a top-quality competition.
How to enter:
Submit your best total/GL points via our qualifier form to be ranked. If you qualify, we'll send you a link to sign up.

Elite Bodyworks Spring Competition 18/05/25

Ideal comp for beginners through to more experienced lifters trying to obtain a QT or GL. You must have a current membership of British Powerlifting to enter this competition. First Weigh-in 8:00am-9.30am/Lifting starts at 10.00am, Second Weigh-in times and lifting groups/schedule to be announced once entries have closed. Entries are limited to 60 lifters with priority given to South Midlands Division lifters first (lifters from other BP divisions welcome 1 week after entry), closing date for entries is Sunday 4th May, no late entries will be accepted and competition entries may close earlier if capacity is reached. SBD British Open Southern Qualifier 26/07/25-27/07/2025

British Powerlifting are pleased to announce some more detail on how athletes can enter the Northern and Southern Qualifying Championships, with each weight class winner to be granted a spot in the 2025 SBD British Open at Fitfest later this year.
With 128 places available per competition (8 per weight class) pre-entry is now live and will close 12 weeks out from each competition. Once entries close the top 8 for each class will be sent payment details which must be paid within 72hrs of receipt (£50 Entry plus £20 Doping fee). Those who do not make the cut for the Championships will be placed on a reserve list (to be published once pre-entry closes), failure to make payment by those selected will result in withdrawal from the championships, and a reserve lifter being granted their spot. Should a weight class not be filled the remaining spaces will be distributed between other weight classes with the most applicants (to a max of 14 per weight class)
All pre-entries have minimum Qualifying standard of 70GL, entries can be made, and a list of pre-entries will be published so athletes know where they are placed.
