South Midlands Competition Rules
As an affiliate to British Powerlifting and therefore the IPF we adhere to the IPF technical rulebook. The latest version of the rulebook can be found here . It is the lifter's responsibility to know the rules they are competing under. The IPF approved equipment that can be used on the day can be found here. If you any questions, send us a message or ask a referee on the day.
Anti Doping Policy

British Powerlifting Eleiko Discount 25%
British Powerlifting members are able to secure a discount on Eleiko products. All details on the agreement can be found here as well as how to secure the discount.
Meet Management programmes - Openlifter / Liftingcast
The division uses two types of meet management software that allow us to run our competitions. Both are great pieces of software and down to the competition organiser on which they use. If you are a competition organiser please use the links to look at both and see what you prefer.
South Midlands Minimum Standards Policy
We are currently working towards a minimum standards policy that will allow us to have a baseline of what to expect as a minimum at South Midlands Powerlifting competitions. When we have finalised and agreed the policy is it will be able to found here.
Where can South Midlands Powerlifting take you?
South Midlands Powerlifting are at the divisional level. The next step up in powerlifting will be at a national level competing at British Powerlifting competitions. To do this you will need to achieve a qualifying total at a divisional competition. The qualifying total for national championships can be found here:
